Who is responsible

Roadwork is operated by Bar Harel, an independent developer based in Israel. For anything about your personal data, contact roadworkfit@gmail.com and we will answer from there.

What we collect

Roadwork stores the information needed to build and track training: your account email, profile, sports, goals, equipment, workouts, programs, check ins, body weight, nutrition logs, body photos you upload, friends activity and notification preferences.

How we use it

We use your data to generate training, show progress, protect your account, send reminders you enable, improve reliability and provide support. We do not sell personal data.

Health-related data

Training data, body weight, body photos, injury notes and nutrition logs are health-related information. We collect them only because they are the product: they exist to build and track your training, they stay private by default, and we do not sell them or use them for advertising. Share features only ever show what you explicitly chose to share.

AI processing

Some features send training notes, food descriptions, food images or voice audio to AI providers so Roadwork can generate workouts, estimate nutrition or transcribe food logs. Body photos are not sent to AI in the current app.

Service providers

Roadwork may use Supabase for auth, database and storage; Anthropic for workout generation; Groq for voice transcription; PostHog for product analytics; Sentry for diagnostics; Resend for email; and Apple or Google for native subscription processing when paid builds are enabled.

Where data is processed

Our service providers process data on servers that may be located outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Supabase hosts the database and file storage, Anthropic processes AI requests, and Groq processes voice transcription. We send each provider only what that feature needs, and they process it under their own data protection commitments.

How long we keep data

Your account data, training history, nutrition logs, weight logs and photos are kept for as long as your account exists, so your history keeps working for you. When you delete your account, this data is deleted from our systems; encrypted backups roll off within about 30 days. Voice recordings are processed to text and are not stored after transcription. Server logs and diagnostic events are kept for short periods measured in days to weeks. Payment records are kept by your app store (Google Play or the App Store), not by us, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Visibility

Weight, food logs and body photos are private. Friends may see limited workout activity only according to your privacy settings.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, receive a copy of it, or delete it. Most of this you can do directly in the app: your data is visible on your own screens, and account deletion is on the delete account page. For anything else, or if you believe we handled your data wrongly, email roadworkfit@gmail.com. If you are in a place whose law gives you additional rights, such as the EU GDPR or Israel's Privacy Protection Law, those rights apply and you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Deletion

You can delete your account from the delete account page. Account deletion removes your Roadwork account data and stored body photo files.
